For over 45 years, I have pursued my passion for illustration, having drawn daily from a very young age. My journey led me to specialize in botanical and scientific illustration,
where I immersed myself in nature, contributing to numerous projects, including journals, books, floras, and scientific papers for esteemed institutions like the RHS and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, receiving 4 RHS Gold Medals in the process as well as other awards such as a fellowship of the Linnean Society.

Inkyjinks, a slightly whimsical venture, initially conceived for a bit of fun in 2017, began with drawings of cheese combining my passion for food with the attention to detail that was needed in my botanical work. However, it has evolved into a thriving enterprise, with my foodie illustrations now making their way to food festivals across the UK and gaining popularity worldwide through online platforms - plus they are so much fun to draw! I specialise in pen and ink with the majority of my work, using a fine Rotring pen for the ink work and watercolour to complete the image. All my work is hand drawn.
